Does Kentucky Deserve to Go Ahead of Tennessee?

Kentucky won big time beating Tennessee 86-69. The game was controlled by Kentucky. They shut down the Tennessee shooting, as Tennessee shot 40% from the field and 28% from 3. Tennessee was No.1 in the nation, and Kentucky was No.5. Does Kentucky deserve to go ahead of Tennessee?

You may think this is a no brainer, but ealier in the week Kentucky lost to LSU at home. I get that there was a controversial call on the game-winning bucket, but if a win is a win, a loss is a loss.

In the LSU game, Kentucky was an 8-point favorite. In the Tennessee game, Kentucky was a 4-point favorite. Kentucky did win by 17 but that loss doesn’t have them ahead of Virginia, or Gonzaga.

I think Kentucky should be a four and Tennessee a five. I think Kentucky jumps ahead mainly because of how they dominated Tennessee. That deserves for a team to jump up in the rankings, especially because Tennessee was No.1.
