The Match Lived Up to the Hype

The Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods match was really good. I got to see it at Buffalo Wild Wings and was thinking about writing about how much of a joke it was. I think it is a joke, but I have to say what a match. Here was my experience.

22 holes of drama. I remember on 18 a bunker shot from Phil that went 35 feet past the hole. Tiger worked out of trouble and put it in. Then, gave Phil a 4 footer to extend. Later, Phil gave Tiger a 6 footer. The missed putts that kept the match going were blood sucking. I remember people at Buffalo Wild Wings saying they were going to stay their all night. The groundskeepers’ had to dig in the hole for the 93 yard sudden death par 3. Finally, Phil made a putt and we could go home. It felt great. I could loosen my legs.21C88B60-102A-415C-839B-1F506F6F7906.jpeg
