The Eagles won the Super Bowl 41-33 over the Patriots in a great game. This is one of the best Super Bowls ever. If you’re an Eagles fan, you saw them win the Super Bowl, Nick Foles passing for 373 yards and three touchdowns. This game in my mind is probably going to be considered top five. What do you guys think, was this top five? 74 points scored from both teams. That is very impressive and it kept the fans in the game. For instance, in Super Bowl 42 the game ended up 17-14. The game was between the Patriots and Giants. That was when David Tyree had a helmet catch and then they got the game winning touchdown with about 35 seconds left. Would you rather see that, a game with 31 points with a pretty great ending but not constant scoring? Or this game with 74 points also a good ending, with constant action? Going back to the game, how about Lagarette Blount having 90 rushing yards and a touchdown. He was on the Patriots and literally just said to them, “forget you,” by going off and plowing through their men.Image result for eagles win super bowl

Now, there was some controversy on the Eagles side with becoming a runner, and then a touchdown was scored. Also, someone bobbled the ball completing the catch in the back of the end zone. These calls were touchdowns on the field and stood after review. They were right calls. The first one the angles offset each other and there was not enough evidence. The second one he was a runner, then he dove, and I would have broke my TV if they overturned this call.Image result for controversy touchdown super bowl abc news

My Way Monday: The rule about becoming a runner is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen and it needs to be changed by the receiver having control and two feet, catch!

  1. Definitely one of the best I’ve seen and completely agree, exciting from beginning to end!! I was surprised by the kickers and the extra point, can’t afford those little mistakes.
