St. John’s Stuns Duke and Harden’s Case for MVP

In NCAA Basketball news, St. John’s who hasn’t won a game in the Big East, beat Duke, the 4th ranked team in the country. The Red Storm won 81-77. Shamorie Ponds scored 33 points and led them to the win. St.John’s improves to 11-13 and Duke is now starting to slide, maybe into double-digits in the rankings next week. They do play rival North Carolina on the road next week which will be a major game. Personally, Duke had a terrible loss and they should be a 10 seed next week. But if you’re a Duke fan, what you need to worry about is them not getting hot come NCAA Tournament time.Image result for st johns beats duke

In NBA news, I think James Harden deserves MVP. Yes, over Lebron James. The Rockets have the better record by 7 games. The Rockets do have better players, but Harden is a offensive star. He just scored 60 points and picked up a triple double. That is easily MVP worthy. The defense isn’t great, but he averages 1.84 steals per game. His offensive stats: 31.9 points per game, 9.1 assists, 5 rebounds. Lebron stats: 26.6 points, 8.7 assists, 7.9 rebounds. Also, Harden has more steals by .2.Image result for james harden abc news
